Arbutus Tree Seedlings For Sale

Our property is a natural arbutus tree nursery. Our crushed shale driveway seems to be a favorite place for seedling to take hold. I would love to supply them if there was a market. Do you know if there are buyers for these native plants?

My beautiful arbutus tree has survived the blight and is fully leafed out again. I've heard that arbutus trees with the blight were removed from Brentwood College grounds. If your trees have the blight (damaged browning leaves) give them some time. When I can I will hire someone to pick up damaged leaves and put them in the garbage - not compost.

I hope you can help me. I brought a few seedlings from my property on Salt Spring Island 12 years ago. Only one became established and is about 30 feet tall. It has branched out beautifully from one straight stem. The leaves are turning brown. Do you know why?
