Drying Time

Hi,

I can 3D Print paper using water based adhesive to a thickness of 3mm. The end product had a WOOD like consistency. Is it possible to apply Walnut Oil to this product in order to stop food contamination? If so, what would be the best way to apply it and could I speed up the drying time?

Basic rule of wood finishing: try a small scrap piece and see if it works. If so then will work on your project.
