How do you finish your wood pendants?

I love your pendants. How are they finished? I don't like the feel of polyurethane and it seems like most wood necklaces I see are finished that way. Obviously the wood needs to be protected, but I don't like the plastic feel.

Well thank you for your appreciation of my wood pendants!

I finish them with tung oil which is from the nut of a tree mostly found in Asia.

However, it is a polymerized tung oil, which means it has been heated and mineral spirits added to it that evaporate as it dries after application.
