Is Arbutus wood utensil safe for cooking?

I'd like to know is Arbutus wood utensil safe for cooking (frying, stirring...) at high temperatures ?

Yes Arbutus Wood is safe for cooking at high temperatures.

Of course if the temperature is extreme there is the possibility that the tip may brown from the heat but so would your food.

Arbutus wood utensils will last a long time... they will age and darken in color but one gets attached. I still use one that is over 10 years old!
