pine chopping board food safe wood finish?

Hi

I'm going to make a pine chopping board like a puzzle piece so they can carry a sandwich and hook around the glass for carrying. How do i protect it so that you can chop on and be safe to eat from?

Use food safe wood finish like walnut oil or mineral oil regularly on the board. That should do it.
