Pine wood boards

Can you eat food off of pine boards from menards. I am a pizza maker and am looking for cheaper wood boards to make pizzas on. I see a pine board with a glue like surge on it and don't know why. Thanks

I am not expert on pine wood...

but they can leak sap which is quite sticky. So find a piece of pine wood that has clean grain and you should find no sap. Must be kiln dried.
