Using coconut oil + Lemon juice ?

Hi,

Can I use coconut oil and add little Lemon juice made for instant wood polish? I read in some blogs that it is one of the food safe and home made wood polish one can prepare easily.

Here in India, Olive oil / or any other oils mentioned in many bogs are costly. But cooking oil (like peanut / sunflower seed) and Coconut are affordable.

Any advice is helpful.

Yes of course you can use coconut or olive oils as a food safe wood finish.

The only thing is that those oils will not dry into the wood as walnut oil does... but they will still work to preserve your wood. So go for it!
