walnut oil

Hi, I would like to ask a question about walnut oil. If I wanted to blend walnut oil with pure beeswax, what walnut oil would be suitable. I live in the UK, and have done a search on Google for walnut oil and the price varies from cheap through to sell my house. Would the walnut oil that is sold in food supermarkets for use in salads be OK to use.

Also when its blended together and poured into a tin to set, does it ever go off/bad.

Hi Mike,

The walnut oil in the food store would be fine to use.
Beeswax will help keep it fresh but I like to keep it in the fridge if it will be used long term.
